ʻIke Wai Undergraduate Scholars Programs

The ʻIke Wai Undergraduate Scholars program is an opportunity for undergraduate students interested in topics related to the ʻIke Wai project to spend up to three academic years learning how to conduct research at the top research institutions in Hawaiʻi, University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo.

The UH Mānoa program focuses on water science (students are called Water Science Scholars) while UH Hilo focuses on data science (students are called Data Science Scholars). The highly diverse cohorts of students interact year round and participate in professional development activities together.
